The Rules

- Image via Wikipedia
- Write what you hear
- Listen to what you write
- Be ready to ask the proprioceptive question
What is the proprioceptive question? The proprioceptive question is:
What do I mean by _________?
The blank is whatever you “hear” during your session. This is about getting out what you hear and not judging the content. This is personal writing. Explore whatever is inside, then you will be able to expand it creatively afterward.
The Four Concluding Questions
- What thoughts were heard but not written?
- How or what do I feel now?
- What larger story is the write part of?
- What ideas came up for future writes?
The write is perfect, even if the feelings are not

hello blogger, i was reading your posts on Proprioceptive Writing: The Rules and Concluding Questions | Writers Community and i actually liked them. one thing that i noticed while browsing through your blog that some of the hyperlinks aren’t working and giving error. this makes the reading experience a little bit sour. you have a nice blog and i will request you to revise the hyperlinks so that fascinated people can get all of the details they want to have. Btw are you on twitter?? i would definitely like to follow you and also get updates in your blog.
